Jason began his work in the creative industry in 1997 as an Apple Computer Systems Engineer. This was followed by a very successful position with FCB HealthCare where he transitioned from the IT and Operational Technologies Director for FCB's Pharmaceutical Division to the creative side in print creative services. After leaving FCB, Jason consulted with a number of small and medium start-up agencies in New York City.
In 2006, Jason became the Editor In Chief of The Boulevard Magazine and transitioned it from a newspaper into Long Island's premier celebrity, lifestyle and variety glossy magazine. Following its closure in 2012, Jason joined the luxury magazine 25A as its first Editor in Chief through 2014.
He has and continues to work in the entertainment industry with past and present credits that include News 12 Long Island, GMG Entertainment/In the Mixx and the Dr. Oz Show. His print editorial and photo credits include Merrick LIfe Newspaper, Newsday, Long Island Community Newspapers, CNN, CBS, ABC News NY, Good Morning America, Soap Opera Digest, and several online media outlets.
Currently, Jason is the President and CEO of Plan B Mediaworks, a consulting company that provides services to magazines and public relations. He has worked for several media outlets on Long Island including the Hamptons, New York City, and Texas.
Through his company, Jason has consulted for Newsday's Long Island Living & Luxury Living magazines as managing editor [Creative Consultant]. He is also the series producer and co-host of the talk show, Spotlight TV which airs on the Fox Business Network. Additionally, he served as Director of Communications for Dr. Oz's not-for-profit organization, HealthCorps and publicist to the Television show, Firehouse Kitchen.
Since 1990, he has been a member of the Bayport Fire Department serving in multiple officer positions including assistant Chief and is currently the Water Rescue Captain.
